Who Are We?

Since opening the Dublin & Lisbon based studio in 2018, creative director Emily Cunnane has gained a reputation for creating joyful spaces with gutsy design choices and thoughtful use of colour.
Whether it’s a private home or a creative workspace, Emily listens. She takes the time to understand how the space flows, how it needs to function, what her clients’ needs are now, and how these may change over time. Each space is designed to enhance the day-to-day, knowing that good design can positively impact your life and work.

At InSpace, we champion homegrown talent and collaborate with artisans and master craftspeople to create cabinetry, furniture, kitchens and decorative pieces for our clients. From founding Dublin Design Night in 2015, through her presence on the council of the IDI (the Institute of Designers in Ireland) and her formal education with the Dublin Institute of Design, Emily’s contacts book is heaving with talented Irish artists, architects and makers. Thankfully, we live on a creative island brimming with like-minded people who are similarly excited to break with convention.

The result is fresh and bold design that carefully balances the playful and the practical; interiors that are layered and interesting, with textural contrasts, expertly curated art and considered lighting schemes. At InSpace, we believe that your physical space should reflect all that you are passionate about.

We also give back. We donate 10% of our profits to the SCOOP Foundation iT Programme, which provides laptops and coaching to help people living in Direct Provision upskill.
