Office Design - Dublin 2 Project Type: Design & Project Manage Location: Dublin 2 Description: Office Redesign InSpace was hired by award winning digital marketing company Wolfgang Digital to improve on the look & feel of their Dublin HQ. It was important to the company that the new design felt vibrant and that there was a connection between the brand guidelines and the physical space. Plants and greenery were important, as was an area to show off their many awards. Working with artists & craftspeople like Danleo and Bear Creation, we achieved the brief and more. Our biggest commission was the custom steel, ply & acrylic frame created for the reception area. This was designed to house plants & trophies, and to segregate the main office from the entrance, whilst still allowing light through.

Arbour Hill - 2 bed house Project Type: Design & Project Manage Location: Arbour Hill Description: 2 bed house We worked with the clients to create a space that felt vibrant & bright - very much opposite to the existing century-old layout. We restructured the ground floor, opening up the space entirely, adding a huge roof light to the kitchen and creating an external courtyard to draw in light & create an extra liveable space. We created a series of 'view frames' throughout to delineate each each area and lead the eye from one to the other. The first frame - the steel divider at the front of the house - also had a more practical purpose; the clients wanted somewhere to store their much-used bikes close to the front door, yet not visible from the rest of the house. The final design is bright & vibrant, much like the clients…
Celbridge - 4 bed house Project Type: Design & Project Manage Location: Celbridge Description: 4 bed house This home is lived in & thoroughly used by a young family of five. To make the space more livable for them, we knocked through from kitchen to living room & added a dining extension to the rear. We overcame small issues like the unbalanced fireplace by adding some light panelling to the left side to create a feature. Accommodating both clients with different wish lists, we used a more industrial monochrome theme through much of the design, using materials like concrete & steel, but softened it up with soft furnishings, splashes of turquoise, natural wood & plants. "Our first consultation with Emily was great, she listened to both mine and my wife’s wish list and came back with some amazing designs. What I loved about Emily's approach was that she distilled down…
Inchicore - 3 Bed house Project Type: Design & Project Manage Location: Inchicore Description: 3 bed house 'Bright, colourful and not too run-of-the-mill' was the brief from this client. Being an old home, the client was keen not to lose any of the charm of the original house through the works carried out.  Entirely renovated including kitchen, bathroom, all electrics, replastering & finishes throughout, we took her at her word and delighted in creating a home that felt vibrant and joyful from first entrance. Using the client's colourful art collection as a starting point, we sourced an eclectic assortment of tiles & wallpapers for the home, creating pockets of delight in every room. "Working with Emily and her team of tradespeople was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. As I live away from my home, I was particularly concerned that the renovations would be realised on schedule and as…
Rathfarnham - 2 bed house Project Type: Design & Project Manage Location: Rathfarnham Description: 2 bed house This client wanted to live in a space that felt opulent & luxurious, despite being a classic suburban home. The north facing living room was dark on the brightest days, so we decided to run with this and create a plush, dark parlour-inspired space. We sourced lot of the furniture & fittings from vintage & antique suppliers and coupled them with some more contemporary pieces, like the Jonathan Adler mirrored cube as a fun twist. The opulence continues in the kitchen diner with a bespoke banquette, silk curtains & gold mosaic tiles. The light in this area perfectly contrasts with the dark front room and the use of mirrors, large French doors & plants create a perfect link with the rear garden. "Emily at InSpace Design exceeded my expectations in every way. From…
Dublin 2 Office Design Project Type: Design & Project Manage Location: Dublin 2 Description: Office Redesign Creative Dublin based digital marketing company Wolfgang contacted us to make their office represent their brand better. A major requirement was shielding the main working office from the reception area, whilst still allowing light to come through. Working from their brand guidelines, we created a steel, acrylic & wood screen that acts as a trophy display cabinet & plant holder. As a forest owner, the company wanted the space to contain natural wood & plants, and, well, wolves. We worked with artists like Danleo to create a custom wolf mural painted over birch ply, and makers like Bear Creation on custom furniture and xxx to... We are currently working on Wolfgang's next project - so watch this space!
Cork Office Project Project Type: Design & Project Manage Location: Cork Description: Office Redesign A science based company that deals with highly sophisticated futuristic concepts, the main team area of the office was to be based around this theme, but in a fun way. With this in mind, we based our design on the space aged era in the 70s of atomic design.  To add an extra layer onto the, we created a second option to bring the space from daytime to nighttime with our 'neon setting.' We used vintage Nasa posters, a 70s pallette and fun elements like an enveloping carpet - floor, walls & ceiling.
